Yes. Even base-spec G01 X3s with Driving Assistant (not Professional) have Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning, both relying on the windscreen-mounted camera. After a windscreen replacement, the camera needs recalibrating regardless of whether your X3 has ACC.

Is ADAS calibration different between the G01 and G45 X3?

The G45 (2024+) has additional sensor positions — side radar behind the rear bumper and upgraded parking cameras. The core radar and camera calibration is the same, but the G45 may require a Full System Reset if multiple systems are affected. The forward camera sits behind the windscreen near the rearview mirror, and the front radar is integrated into the lower kidney grille area.

G45 (2024+): Driving Assistant Professional is standard on most trims, adding Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Change Assistant, and Parking Assistant Plus with 360-degree cameras. The G45 added side radar units behind the rear bumper for Blind Spot Detection.
