ADAS Systems on the BMW X4

G02 (2018+) – Current Generation

The G02 X4 shares its ADAS platform with the G01 X3. Available systems include:

Driving Assistant (standard on most UK trims) – Front Collision Warning, AEB, and Lane Departure Warning. Forward camera behind the windscreen; front radar behind the kidney grille.
Driving Assistant Professional (optional, commonly specified) – adds Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Change Assistant, and Highway Assistant.
Parking Assistant Plus – ultrasonic sensors and four surround-view cameras.

The X4's coupe roofline affects the windscreen rake angle (steeper than X3) and the rear camera mounting position (integrated into the tailgate spoiler area). Both matter during calibration.

F26 (2014–2018) – Previous Generation

The F26 offered Driving Assistant as an option. Many F26s have parking sensors but not the full ADAS suite of the G02. If your F26 has ACC, the radar is behind the lower front bumper.
