The DS 7 is the most sensor-intensive vehicle in the DS range – three separate systems that all need calibrating after front-end work. The windscreen camera powers both ADAS and DS Active Scan Suspension. The front radar handles adaptive cruise and emergency braking. And the infrared camera in the grille provides DS Night Vision. A single bumper replacement can misalign two of these three systems simultaneously.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the DS Automobiles DS 7
The DS 7 has three separate sensor systems — windscreen camera, front radar, and Night Vision infrared camera — while most Stellantis models have two at most. The windscreen camera also powers DS Active Scan Suspension, creating a fourth dependency. After a front-end collision, the DS 7 needs more calibration points than a Peugeot 3008 or Citroën C5 Aircross on the same EMP2 platform.
