Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider ADAS Calibration

The Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider open-top variant carries the same Full ADAS Pack as the coupé - including AEB, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Detection. The convertible roof system does not alter the ADAS sensor positions: the forward camera is still windscreen-mounted and the front radar sits behind the front grille.

Windscreen chips are more common on open-top cars driven at speed. Any windscreen replacement on the 12Cilindri Spider requires camera recalibration before the safety systems function correctly.

ADAS Systems on the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider

The 12Cilindri Spider shares the Full ADAS Pack with the coupé: windscreen camera and front radar running Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Detection. The retractable hardtop does not affect any ADAS sensor positions.

When Does the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider Need ADAS Calibration?

  • After windscreen replacement - camera calibration required after any glass change.
  • After front bumper or grille work - front radar realignment required.
  • After a front collision - full sensor recalibration after any front-end impact.
