Is the 488 Pista discontinued?

Yes — production ran from 2018 to 2020. But Pistas are actively tracked and driven in the UK, and front-end repairs after track use are common. The calibration requirement remains as long as the car has AEB.

How does the Pista compare to the Pista Spider?

The 488 Pista Spider has the same AEB hardware and similar front-end aerodynamics. The Spider's retractable roof doesn't affect the front radar. We also calibrate the F8 Tributo — the 488's successor with standard AEB on every car.

Ferrari 488 Pista ADAS Calibration

The 488 Pista strips the 488 platform down to its track essentials – 50kg lighter, revised aerodynamics, and a front bumper profile that bears no resemblance to the standard GTB. If your Pista has AEB fitted (late-production models), the radar behind that unique bumper requires calibration specific to the Pista's aero geometry. Standard 488 GTB calibration targets will not produce accurate results.
