How does the Daytona SP3 compare to the Monza for ADAS?

The Monza SP1/SP2 is the earlier Icona series model. Both have AEB with front radar, both have bespoke bodywork requiring model-specific calibration. Neither has the Full ADAS Pack. We also calibrate the 812 Competizione.

Ferrari Daytona SP3 ADAS Calibration

The Daytona SP3 is part of Ferrari's Icona series – 599 units built, each with a carbon-fibre targa body and a naturally aspirated V12. Despite its collector status, the Daytona SP3 has AEB as standard, with a front radar behind bespoke bodywork that shares nothing with any other Ferrari model. After any front-end work on this car, the radar calibration must reference the SP3's unique body geometry.

When Your Daytona SP3 Needs Calibration

After Front Bodywork Repair

The Daytona SP3's carbon-fibre front bodywork is unique to the model. Any damage requiring repair or replacement of front panels affects the radar's position relative to the car. Carbon-fibre specialist repairs followed by radar recalibration is the correct sequence.

After Event or Show Transport Damage

Cars of this value are transported to events, shows, and concours. Loading and unloading can occasionally result in front-end contact. If the bumper area was affected, the AEB radar needs checking.

After Paint Protection or Wrap Application

Some SP3 owners apply protective film or wraps that require removing front body panels. Any removal and refitting process can shift the radar alignment.
