Ferrari GTC4Lusso ADAS Calibration

The GTC4Lusso is Ferrari's four-seat V12 shooting brake – all-wheel drive, a practical boot, and the kind of daily usability that leads to more body shop visits than a weekend supercar. Produced from 2016 to 2020, later GTC4Lusso models (2019-2020) have AEB as standard with a front radar behind the bumper. If your GTC4Lusso's emergency braking system flagged a warning after front-end repair, the radar needs recalibration.

ADAS Systems on Your Ferrari GTC4Lusso

The GTC4Lusso (2016-2020) sits on Ferrari's front-mid-engine V12 platform:

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – available on later models (approximately 2019-2020). Front radar behind the bumper.
  • Parking sensors – ultrasonic front and rear, standard across all years.
  • Rear camera – standard reversing camera.

Earlier GTC4Lusso models (2016-2018) may have no AEB. The GTC4Lusso was discontinued in 2020, succeeded by the Purosangue as Ferrari's practical four-seater. The shooting brake body style means a longer rear overhang and different panel geometry than standard GT Ferraris, but the front radar position follows the same bumper-mounted convention.

When Your GTC4Lusso Needs Calibration

After Front Bumper Repair

The GTC4Lusso sees daily driving – school runs, motorway commutes, supermarket car parks. Front bumper contact with kerbs, bollards, and car park barriers is more common on this model than on a dedicated GT. If your bumper was repaired and the car has AEB, radar recalibration is required.

After Collision Repair

Front-end collision repair on the GTC4Lusso requires post-repair radar alignment. The bodyshop handles the panel and paint work – we provide the Collision Calibration.

After Windscreen Replacement

The GTC4Lusso does not have a windscreen-mounted camera, but we can verify no sensors were affected during the windscreen replacement process.

It depends on the year. Models from approximately 2019-2020 have AEB with a front radar. Earlier GTC4Lusso models (2016-2018) may have parking sensors only. Check your dashboard settings for an AEB function, or contact us with your year and we'll confirm. See all Ferrari models
