Ferrari Monza ADAS Calibration

The Monza SP1 and SP2 are Ferrari's first Icona series models – open-cockpit barchettas with no windscreen, no roof, and a V12 producing 799bhp. Despite the minimalist approach, the Monza has AEB with a front radar behind bespoke bodywork. After any front-end repair on an SP1 or SP2, that radar requires calibration specific to the Monza's unique body geometry.

ADAS Systems on Your Ferrari Monza

The Monza SP1/SP2 (2019+) is a limited Icona model:

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – standard. Front radar behind the bespoke front bodywork.
  • Parking sensors – ultrasonic front and rear.

No windscreen camera – the Monza has no windscreen. No ACC, no Lane Departure Warning, no Blind Spot Detection. The ADAS provision is limited to AEB and parking assistance. The SP1 is a single-seater, the SP2 has a passenger seat – but the front-end and ADAS hardware are identical.

The absence of a windscreen means one fewer calibration point compared to other Ferraris, but the bespoke carbon-fibre front bodywork means the radar calibration is entirely model-specific.

When Your Monza Needs Calibration

After Front Bodywork Repair

The Monza's carbon-fibre nose is unique to the Icona series. Any repair or replacement of front panels shifts the radar. Carbon-fibre specialist bodywork followed by radar recalibration is the correct sequence.

After Transport or Event Damage

Monzas are transported to events, hillclimbs, and track days. Loading incidents can affect the front bodywork. If the front end was contacted during transport, the AEB radar position should be verified.

After Protective Film Application

PPF on the Monza's front body panels may involve partial panel removal, which can shift the radar from its calibrated position.

Ferrari Monza ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Ferrari Monza

No — the Monza SP1/SP2 has no windscreen, so there is no windscreen-mounted camera. The only ADAS calibration needed is the front radar behind the bumper for AEB.
