The Ford Transit Connect and Tourneo Connect use Ford Co-Pilot360, with a forward-facing windscreen camera for Pre-Collision Assist with AEB and Lane-Keeping System, and front and rear radar modules for Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Information System. The 2022-generation Connect moved to a Volkswagen platform collaboration, bringing over the shared VW Group ADAS sensor architecture - later Connect models use front radar behind the front badge and a windscreen camera working together.

When Does the Ford Connect Need ADAS Calibration?

  • After windscreen replacement - the Co-Pilot360 camera loses its calibration reference. Pre-Collision Assist will fault.
  • After front bumper removal - radar alignment required on ACC-equipped models.
