Manufacturer schedules and when to book How Long Does ADAS Calibration Take? Typical durations per service and what affects them
The Ford Focus is one of our most common passenger car calibrations – and the Mk4 (2018 onwards) carries Ford's full Co-Pilot360 suite, meaning a single bumper repair can knock out Pre-Collision Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane-Keeping in one go. If your Focus dashboard is showing "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available" after bodywork or a windscreen swap, the sensors need recalibrating – not replacing.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Ford Focus
Yes. The Focus Mk3 (2014–2018) has Pre-Collision Assist and Lane-Keeping Alert that rely on a windscreen-mounted camera. After windscreen replacement or a front-end collision, these systems require recalibration — the same as the newer Mk4.
