ADAS Calibration for Haval models

For the price of a Haval H6, you get intersection assistance, traffic jam assist, and a transparent chassis view - ADAS features usually reserved for cars costing twice as much. Every one of those systems relies on sensors that need recalibration after bodywork. We calibrate the full GWM group range, including every Haval model sold in the UK, from £199 at 70+ workshops.

Haval ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Haval model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Haval model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Haval ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Haval vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Haval with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Haval ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Haval models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Haval, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Haval ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Haval uses straightforward ADAS naming - no proprietary suite branding. Here's what's fitted across the range:

  • Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - radar-based cruise that works from standstill to motorway speed
  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian & Cyclist Detection - forward collision prevention
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW) - audible and visual alert before AEB intervenes
  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) - camera-based lane monitoring
  • Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) - combines ACC and LKA for semi-autonomous driving in slow traffic (H6)
  • Intersection Assistance - detects crossing traffic at junctions (H6)
  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD) - monitors adjacent lanes using rear-quarter sensors
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) - warns when reversing into cross traffic
  • Door Opening Warning (DOW) - alerts passengers to passing traffic before opening doors (H6)
  • 360° Around View Camera and Transparent Chassis Function - multiple surround-view cameras creating an underbody view for parking and off-road manoeuvres
  • Head-Up Display (HUD) - projects speed and ADAS status onto the windscreen (higher trims, Dargo)

The front-facing camera sits at the top of the windscreen. The front radar is integrated into the grille and bumper. The Dargo uses a Mobileye EyeQ4 processor with 14 radars and 5 cameras for its Level 2 system. When any sensor is disturbed - by a windscreen replacement, bumper repair, or collision - the connected systems need recalibration.

Common Reasons Haval Owners Contact Us

After Bumper or Grille Repair

The front radar behind your Haval's grille powers Adaptive Cruise Control and AEB. The H6 and Dargo also carry rear radar for RCTA. A bumper repair on either end of the vehicle can displace radar sensors - if your cruise control or reversing alert stopped working after bodywork, radar recalibration is needed.

After Windscreen Replacement

Every ADAS-equipped Haval has a forward-facing camera bonded to the windscreen. On models with HUD, the windscreen itself is part of the display optics - replacing it affects both camera alignment and HUD projection. If your windscreen fitter couldn't complete the calibration, we handle it - it's one of our most common jobs.

Dargo Off-Road and Hard Use

The Dargo is positioned as a rugged SUV - and rugged use means more bumper strikes, stone chips to sensors, and mud or debris covering camera lenses. An owner recently brought in a Dargo with AEB and BSD warnings after a weekend of green laning. The rear bumper sensors had been displaced by a trail impact. One collision calibration session restored every system.

360° Camera and Transparent Chassis Faults

Haval's transparent chassis function stitches footage from multiple surround-view cameras to create a virtual underbody view. If any camera is misaligned - from a mirror replacement, body panel repair, or side impact - the view distorts and the system may disable itself. Each camera position needs individual alignment verification.

Haval Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The H6 is the most ADAS-equipped Haval - it carries the full Level 2 suite including Traffic Jam Assist, Intersection Assistance, and Door Opening Warning alongside the standard AEB, ACC, and BSD. The Dargo adds a Mobileye EyeQ4 processor with 14 radars and 5 cameras, making it the most sensor-dense Haval after off-road hard use.

We calibrate ADAS systems on 3 Haval models across the Lemon platform.

Haval ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your Haval

Haval is a sub-brand of [GWM](/gwm) (Great Wall Motors), and both share the Lemon platform with similar sensor architecture. Calibration procedures are closely related, so our expertise with GWM Ora models transfers directly to Haval vehicles.
