Jaguar E-Pace ADAS Calibration

Jaguar's compact SUV packs a full Drive Assist suite into a smaller body than the F-Pace – and that means sensors are closer together, making precise calibration even more critical after any bodywork. If your E-Pace has Emergency Braking or Lane Keep Assist warnings after a repair, ADAS calibration from £199 at 70+ UK workshops gets it sorted.

Drive Assist Systems on the Jaguar E-Pace

The E-Pace launched in 2018 on JLR's D8 platform with a comprehensive ADAS package:

Standard systems (2018+): Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Lane Departure Warning, and a reversing camera. The forward-facing camera sits behind the windscreen; the front radar is integrated into the lower grille – same sensor positions as the larger F-Pace but scaled to the E-Pace's compact bodywork.

2021 facelift onwards: Upgraded to Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Lane Keep Assist (upgraded from warning-only), Blind Spot Assist, Rear Traffic Monitor, Driver Condition Monitor, and ClearSight rear-view mirror. Higher trims add the 3D Surround Camera system with cameras in the front grille, door mirrors, and tailgate.

Key E-Pace detail: The compact dimensions mean the front radar and windscreen camera are positioned closer together than on larger JLR models. Both sensors can be affected by a single front-end impact – making collision calibration the more common service after accidents.

Common ADAS Issues on the E-Pace

Windscreen replacement triggering Lane Keep Assist faults: The E-Pace's windscreen-mounted camera controls Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and the High-Speed Emergency Braking system. After windscreen replacement, the camera requires static calibration in a controlled workshop environment – mobile calibration isn't suitable for this model's camera position.

Front-end repairs disabling Emergency Braking and ACC: The front radar behind the lower grille is vulnerable during bumper repairs. Even a minor grille removal for a respray can shift the sensor alignment. If your repair shop has mentioned ADAS calibration, this is why.

Rear bumper work affecting Blind Spot Assist: The E-Pace's Blind Spot Assist and Rear Traffic Monitor use sensors embedded in the rear bumper. After rear-end repairs, these systems need recalibration – particularly on post-2021 models where Rear Traffic Monitor became standard.

Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349

After windscreen replacement on your E-Pace, camera recalibration is our £199 fixed-rate service – the most common calibration we'd expect for this model given how many windscreen fitters can't complete the ADAS step themselves.

Jaguar E-Pace ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Jaguar E-Pace

Same sensor types, similar positions, but the E-Pace's compact body means slightly different calibration targets. Our technicians calibrate both models using JLR-specific diagnostic equipment. See all Jaguar models we calibrate.
