Drive Assist Systems on the Jaguar F-Pace

The F-Pace is built on Jaguar Land Rover's D7 platform and carries the full Drive Assist suite. ADAS configuration varies by generation:

First generation (X761, 2016–2020): Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Blind Spot Assist standard from mid-spec trims. The forward-facing camera is windscreen-mounted; the front radar sits behind the lower grille. 360° Surround Camera available on higher trims.

Second generation (2021+): Full Drive Assist standard across all trims – Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Rear Traffic Monitor, Driver Condition Monitor, and ClearSight Ground View. Additional ultrasonic sensors across all bumpers increase calibration complexity after bodywork.

The F-Pace shares its sensor hardware with Land Rover models like the Discovery Sport – same JLR platform, same calibration procedures.

Why Your F-Pace Might Need ADAS Calibration

After bumper replacement or front-end repair: The F-Pace's front radar sensor sits behind the lower grille – the same position as other JLR SUVs. Even a minor grille swap or bumper respray can shift the sensor angle enough to trigger Emergency Braking and ACC faults. If your body shop has flagged ADAS calibration after their repair, radar recalibration at £349 resolves it.

After windscreen replacement: Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Driver Condition Monitor all rely on the windscreen-mounted camera. If your windscreen fitter couldn't complete the calibration – common with Jaguar models – we handle the camera recalibration they couldn't.

After buying a used F-Pace: The F-Pace is one of the more common Jaguars on the used market. If previous repairs weren't followed by proper ADAS recalibration, warning lights may persist. A diagnostic scan identifies which systems need attention.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Jaguar F-Pace

Yes. The 2021+ F-Pace has more sensors — ClearSight Ground View cameras in the grille, mirrors, and tailgate, plus additional ultrasonic sensors. After major bodywork, multiple systems may need recalibration. Our Full System Reset (£499) covers everything in one session.
