Land Rover Range Rover ADAS Calibration

The Range Rover is Land Rover's flagship – and carries the most extensive ADAS sensor array in the entire lineup. Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, 3D Surround Camera, ClearSight Ground View, ClearSight Rear View, Blind Spot Assist, Wade Sensing, and on the fifth-generation L460, a cabin-facing driver monitoring camera and Head-Up Display. When one sensor loses alignment after a repair, the central control module can flag faults across every connected system simultaneously.

ADAS Systems on the Range Rover

Fourth generation (L405, 2012–2022):

  • Adaptive Cruise Control – front long-range radar behind the lower grille
  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – radar + camera fusion
  • Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist – windscreen camera
  • Blind Spot Assist – rear quarter radar sensors
  • Rear Traffic Monitor
  • 360° Surround Camera with bird's-eye view
  • Park Assist (automated parallel and perpendicular parking)
  • Wade Sensing – ultrasonic sensors measuring water depth (on Autobiography and above)

Fifth generation (L460, 2022+) adds:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist – enhanced lane centering with stop-and-go
  • 3D Surround Camera System – four cameras with full 3D rendering
  • ClearSight Ground View – front cameras showing ground beneath the bonnet
  • ClearSight Digital Rear View Mirror – rear camera replacing traditional mirror
  • Driver Monitoring Camera – cabin-facing infrared camera tracking attention and fatigue
  • Head-Up Display – calibrated to windscreen curvature
  • Automated Valet Parking (on select trims)

The L460 carries the same ADAS platform as the Range Rover Sport L461 but with the addition of Automated Valet Parking and the highest-specification ClearSight package as standard on more trim levels.

Why Your Range Rover Might Need ADAS Calibration

Post-Collision Multi-System Cascade

The Range Rover's sensor density means a front-end collision triggers more system faults than on any other Land Rover. ACC, AEB, Lane Keep Assist, ClearSight Ground View, and the 3D Surround Camera can all lose alignment from a single impact. Our collision calibration addresses radar, windscreen camera, and surround cameras as a package – rather than booking separate appointments for each system.

Windscreen Replacement on L460 Models

The fifth-generation Range Rover integrates the forward-facing camera, Head-Up Display projection zone, rain/light sensors, and driver monitoring camera optics into the windscreen area. After windscreen replacement, recalibration covers the forward camera (Lane Keep Assist, AEB visual detection), HUD alignment, and rain sensor verification. If your windscreen company completed the glass swap but couldn't calibrate the camera, we finish the job.

Insurance Repair and Body Shop Handoff

Range Rover repairs frequently go through insurance – and the insurer's body shop may not have OEM-grade ADAS calibration equipment. If your Range Rover has been repaired after an accident and the body shop has flagged that ADAS calibration is needed, we handle the specialist recalibration at a fixed price. No percentage markup, no dealer wait time. The Discovery and Discovery Sport follow the same body-shop-to-calibration handoff pattern.

Range Rover Calibration Pricing

ServicePrice
Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349
Full System Reset£499

The Range Rover's flagship specification means most owners dealing with post-collision or multi-system faults choose our £499 Full System Reset – a comprehensive recalibration of every ADAS sensor on the vehicle, with full diagnostic clearance and calibration certificate.

Land Rover Range Rover ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Land Rover Range Rover

No — our pricing is fixed regardless of model or specification level. Windscreen calibration is £199, radar/sensor calibration is £349, and a Full System Reset covering every system is £499. The Range Rover may have more sensors to calibrate than a Discovery Sport, but the price stays the same. See all Land Rover models we calibrate.
