The LEVC TX has one ADAS characteristic that no other vehicle on UK roads shares: its Autonomous Emergency Braking cannot be turned off. It is permanently active – a regulatory requirement for London-licensed hackney carriages. If that AEB system is misaligned after a bumper repair or windscreen replacement, you cannot simply disable it and drive on. It will either phantom brake in traffic or fail to intervene when it should.
