Can VN5 AEB be disabled for loading?

No. Like the TX, the VN5's AEB is always-on and cannot be disabled. If the system is phantom braking during low-speed manoeuvres, the front radar or camera is likely misaligned and needs professional recalibration.

The LEVC VN5 is the electric van variant of the TX taxi platform – 5 cubic metres of cargo space, the same eCity chassis, and the same always-on AEB system. Commercial van use means frequent deliveries, tight loading bays, and reversing into spaces designed for smaller vehicles. Every bumper repair and windscreen replacement on a VN5 triggers the same calibration requirement as the TX taxi.

ADAS Systems on Your LEVC VN5

The VN5 shares identical ADAS hardware with the TX taxi:

Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – always-on collision avoidance using front camera and radar
