Is the Lexus IS rear-wheel drive — does this affect ADAS?

The IS is rear-wheel drive, which changes handling characteristics but has no effect on ADAS sensors. The front radar and windscreen camera function identically regardless of drivetrain configuration.

Does the previous-generation IS have ADAS?

The previous IS (2013-2020) had earlier versions of LSS+ on later trims. If your pre-2021 IS has PCS and DRCC, the sensors still need calibrating after bumper or windscreen work. We also calibrate the Lexus ES and LS.
