Can you calibrate Advanced Park?

Yes. Advanced Park uses ultrasonic sensors and surround-view cameras. If any of these have been disturbed by bodywork, parking damage, or camera replacement, the system needs recalibrating. This is included in our Full System Reset at £499.

Is the LS calibration the same as a Toyota Crown or Century?

The LS shares the TNGA-L platform with select Toyota models. The sensor hardware — front radar, windscreen camera — is identical. Advanced Park is Lexus-specific in its software but uses the same sensor types. Our Toyota expertise covers the underlying hardware. We also calibrate the LC and IS.

Lexus LS ADAS Calibration

The LS is Lexus's flagship saloon – and carries the most sensors of any Lexus sedan. Beyond the standard LSS+ 2.0 radar and camera, the LS adds Advanced Park with ultrasonic sensors and surround-view cameras for automated parking. This means more calibration points after bodywork than any other Lexus saloon. If your LS has had a bumper repair, windscreen replacement, or parking-related body damage, multiple sensor systems may need recalibrating.

The LS (2018+, 5th generation) runs on the TNGA-L platform with LSS+ 2.0 plus additional features:

Pre-Collision System (PCS) – AEB with pedestrian detection. Front radar and windscreen camera.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) – full-speed adaptive cruise.
Lane Departure Alert (LDA) and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) – windscreen camera.

The LS has more sensor hardware than any other Lexus saloon. Front radar behind the grille, windscreen camera, four surround-view cameras, ultrasonic parking sensors around the entire perimeter, and rear BSM sensors. After bodywork affecting any of these zones, the corresponding systems need recalibrating.

When Your Lexus LS Needs Calibration

After Bumper or Bodywork Repair

The LS's front bumper houses the PCS/DRCC radar. Any bumper repair requires radar recalibration. Rear bumper work can affect BSM and RCTA sensors.

After Windscreen Replacement

The windscreen camera powers LDA, LTA, RSA, and contributes to PCS. Every windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration.

After Parking Damage

The LS's Advanced Park system uses ultrasonic sensors and surround-view cameras around the entire vehicle. Parking scrapes that damage sensors or displace cameras require recalibration of the Advanced Park system. Our Full System Reset at £499 covers all systems.
