Lotus Emeya ADAS Calibration

Where the Eletre uses pop-out fender LiDAR, the Lotus Emeya hides its RoboSense LiDAR sensors on the roof and rear wing – foldable units that sit flush until needed. Same Lotus Intelligent Driving suite, same dual NVIDIA Orin X processing, same 33-sensor architecture, but different LiDAR positions that create different calibration triggers after body repairs.

ADAS Systems on Your Lotus Emeya

The Emeya shares the EPA platform with the Eletre, running the complete Lotus Intelligent Driving suite:

  • Highway Assist – motorway-speed lane centring and adaptive cruise with LiDAR fusion
  • Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (i-ACC) – multi-sensor following distance management
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – LiDAR, radar, and camera fusion
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Change Assist (LCA)
  • Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
  • 360° HD Surround View – multi-camera parking system
  • Driver Monitoring System (DMS) – infrared cabin camera
  • Hidden LiDAR – 2 RoboSense M Platform sensors positioned on roof and rear wing area

The Emeya's GT body style places the LiDAR sensors in different positions to the Eletre – roof-mounted and rear wing rather than wheel fenders. This means roof and rear body repairs are the primary LiDAR calibration triggers on the Emeya.

When Your Lotus Emeya Needs Recalibration

After Roof or Rear Wing Repair

The Emeya's hidden LiDAR sensors sit on the roof and rear wing area. Hail damage repair, roof panel work, rear wing replacement, or even rear spoiler installation can shift these sensors. Unlike the Eletre's fender LiDAR, the Emeya's roof position means any overhead work is a calibration trigger.

After Windscreen Replacement

Forward cameras behind the windscreen power AEB, lane keeping, and Highway Assist. The roof-mounted LiDAR sits above the windscreen – glass replacement can potentially affect both camera and LiDAR alignment.

After Bumper or Side Panel Repair

Cameras and radar sensors distributed across the Emeya's body panels mean side impacts, bumper repairs, and mirror replacements can all displace ADAS sensors. The Emeya's low GT profile makes it more susceptible to kerb-level impacts affecting lower sensors.

Lotus Emeya Calibration Pricing

ServicePrice
Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349
Full System Reset£499

The Emeya's 33 sensors and dual LiDAR typically require our £499 Full System Reset after collision repairs – covering everything in a single appointment.

Lotus Emeya ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Lotus Emeya

Same EPA platform, same sensor count, but different LiDAR positions. The Eletre uses deployable fender-mounted Hesai LiDAR — fender repairs are the trigger. The Emeya uses hidden RoboSense LiDAR on the roof and rear wing — roof and rear body repairs are the trigger. The Emira is far simpler with optional basic ADAS. See all Lotus models
