Maserati GranTurismo ADAS Calibration

The new GranTurismo is built on the Giorgio platform – the same architecture that underpins the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia. Our technicians calibrate those models regularly, which means we already know where the sensors sit and how the platform behaves. If your GranTurismo's Highway Assist System has faulted after front-end bodywork, the radar behind the Trident badge needs recalibration.

ADAS Systems on Your Maserati GranTurismo

The GranTurismo (2023+) carries the full Maserati ADAS suite on the Giorgio platform:

  • Highway Assist System (HAS) – Level 2 autonomy combining ACC with active lane centring for motorway driving
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – front radar behind the Trident badge on the grille
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – radar and camera-based forward collision mitigation
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – windscreen camera behind the rearview mirror
  • Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA) – corrective steering intervention when drifting toward an occupied lane
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) – rear radar sensors detecting approaching vehicles when reversing
  • Surround View Camera System – four cameras for bird's-eye parking
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – camera-based speed limit detection
  • Intersection Collision Assist – AEB at junctions using radar and camera

The Intersection Collision Assist is a notable feature – it provides emergency braking at T-junctions and crossroads, relying on precisely aligned front sensors.

Common Calibration Triggers for the GranTurismo

Grille or front bumper repair: The GranTurismo's front radar sits behind the Trident badge – any grille repair, bumper replacement, or front-end respray shifts the sensor. This affects ACC, AEB, HAS, and Intersection Collision Assist simultaneously. Our radar calibration at £349 restores all four systems.

Windscreen replacement: The forward camera powers LKA, LDW, TSR, and contributes to HAS and AEB. A windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration before these systems function again.

Side panel repairs affecting ABSA: Active Blind Spot Assist applies corrective steering – if the rear-quarter sensors are misaligned after bodywork, the system may steer at the wrong moment or fail to respond. This is a safety-critical recalibration.

Front-end bodywork on the GranTurismo typically requires radar recalibration – our £349 fixed rate covers the Trident-mounted radar and includes a diagnostic scan of HAS, AEB, and Intersection Collision Assist.

Maserati GranTurismo ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Maserati GranTurismo

The GranTurismo uses the Giorgio platform shared with Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia. Sensor positions and calibration procedures overlap. However, Maserati's system naming (HAS, ABSA, FCW+) and software differ from Alfa Romeo — diagnostics must be Maserati-specific. See all Maserati models we calibrate
