Maserati Levante ADAS Calibration

The Levante was Maserati's first SUV – and it remains one of the most common Maserati models on UK roads. Driven daily as a luxury family vehicle, the Levante accumulates bodywork incidents that trigger ADAS recalibration. If your Levante's Adaptive Cruise Control went offline after a grille repair, the radar behind the Trident badge needs professional recalibration.

ADAS Systems on Your Maserati Levante

The Levante (2016–2023) carries a comprehensive ADAS package that evolved over its production run:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – front radar behind the Trident badge on the grille
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – radar and camera-based collision mitigation
  • Forward Collision Warning Plus (FCW+) – visual and audible alert before AEB activates
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – alerts when the car crosses lane markings
  • Blind Spot Assist – rear-quarter sensors monitoring adjacent lanes
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) – rear sensors for reversing safety
  • Surround View Camera System – four cameras for bird's-eye parking
  • Hill Descent Control – maintains speed on steep descents
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – camera-based speed limit detection

Later Levante models (2019+ update) received enhanced ADAS including Highway Assist System. The front radar consistently sits behind the Trident badge across all production years.

When Your Maserati Levante Needs Calibration

After grille or front bumper repair: The Levante is an SUV used for school runs, shopping, and daily commuting. Front bumper contacts from car parks and urban driving are common. The radar behind the Trident powers ACC, AEB, and FCW+ – any grille or bumper work triggers recalibration.

After windscreen replacement: The forward camera controls LDW, TSR, and contributes to AEB. A windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration before these systems work again.

After rear-end bodywork: The Levante's rear bumper houses RCTA sensors and parking sensors. The rear-quarter panels hold Blind Spot Assist sensors. Rear-end repairs on this SUV commonly affect multiple sensor systems.

On a used Levante: The Levante is being phased out, pushing many into the used market. If you have recently purchased a used Levante and ADAS warnings are present, the sensors may have been displaced during previous bodywork.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Maserati Levante

The Levante is being phased out as Maserati transitions to the Giorgio platform with the Grecale. However, thousands of Levantes remain on UK roads and will need ADAS calibration for years. Our equipment covers every Levante model year. See all Maserati models we calibrate
