Maserati MC20 ADAS Calibration

The MC20 is Maserati's supercar – a carbon fibre monocoque with Maserati's Nettuno twin-turbo V6 and a price tag starting at £190,000. It carries a reduced ADAS package compared to the Grecale or GranTurismo, but on a vehicle of this value and construction, sensor calibration after bodywork demands absolute precision and specialist handling.

ADAS Systems on Your Maserati MC20

The MC20 (2022+) carries a supercar-appropriate ADAS configuration:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – forward collision mitigation using radar and camera
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – front radar behind the front bumper area
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) – windscreen camera behind the rearview mirror
  • Blind Spot Assist – rear-quarter sensors
  • Surround View Camera System – four cameras for parking assistance
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – camera-based speed limit detection

The MC20 uses a bespoke carbon fibre monocoque – no platform sharing with the Giorgio-based Grecale or GranTurismo. Sensor mounting points are unique to this model. The ADAS information is displayed on the central touchscreen rather than a separate driver display.

When Your MC20 Needs ADAS Calibration

After front bumper repair: The MC20 sits extremely low, with an aggressive front splitter that sees contact with speed bumps, ramps, and car park entries. The front radar behind the bumper area powers ACC and AEB – any front-end work that involves bumper removal requires recalibration.

After windscreen replacement: The MC20's windscreen houses the forward camera for LKA, TSR, and AEB. A windscreen replacement on the MC20 requires camera recalibration – the bespoke windscreen geometry means precise alignment is essential.

After side panel or carbon fibre repairs: The MC20's carbon fibre body panels do not deform and spring back like metal – they hold position or crack. If a panel near the Blind Spot Assist sensors or surround-view cameras has been repaired or replaced, the sensors need rechecking.

Maserati MC20 ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Maserati MC20

The MC20 has a reduced ADAS specification — AEB, ACC, LKA, Blind Spot Assist, and Surround View. The Grecale adds Highway Assist System, RCTA, and Intersection Collision Assist. The MC20 is a bespoke platform; the Grecale uses Giorgio. See all Maserati models we calibrate
