Is calibration different on the MC20's carbon fibre body?

The carbon fibre monocoque means sensor brackets behave differently than on metal-bodied cars. Carbon does not flex — it either holds shape or fractures. If a panel near a sensor has been repaired, the mounting geometry must be verified before calibration. Our technicians account for this during the process.

Can a workshop that calibrates the Grecale also do the MC20?

Our technicians cover the full Maserati range, including the MC20's bespoke platform. While the Grecale shares Giorgio with Alfa Romeo, the MC20 requires model-specific calibration data. We carry equipment for both. We also calibrate the MC20 Cielo.

When Your MC20 Needs ADAS Calibration

After front bumper repair: The MC20 sits extremely low, with an aggressive front splitter that sees contact with speed bumps, ramps, and car park entries. The front radar behind the bumper area powers ACC and AEB – any front-end work that involves bumper removal requires recalibration.

After windscreen replacement: The MC20's windscreen houses the forward camera for LKA, TSR, and AEB. A windscreen replacement on the MC20 requires camera recalibration – the bespoke windscreen geometry means precise alignment is essential.

After side panel or carbon fibre repairs: The MC20's carbon fibre body panels do not deform and spring back like metal – they hold position or crack. If a panel near the Blind Spot Assist sensors or surround-view cameras has been repaired or replaced, the sensors need rechecking.
