Is the eSprinter ADAS the same as the diesel Sprinter?

Yes. The eSprinter and diesel Sprinter share identical ADAS sensor hardware — same radar position, same forward camera, same ultrasonic sensors. The electric drivetrain doesn't affect ADAS calibration. Procedures and fixed pricing are the same.

Can you calibrate our eSprinter fleet at our depot?

Does the eSprinter need ADAS calibration after a rear door replacement?

If only the rear doors were replaced, front-facing ADAS systems are unaffected. However, if Blind Spot Assist radar sensors behind the rear bumper panels were disturbed during the repair, those sensors may need recalibrating. Our technicians confirm which sensors need attention during the diagnostic scan.

How does the first-gen eSprinter differ from the next-gen for ADAS?

Mercedes eSprinter ADAS Calibration

A warning light appeared on your Mercedes eSprinter dashboard after the delivery bay scraped the front bumper – and now Active Brake Assist is disabled. The eSprinter is Mercedes's electric large van, sharing ADAS hardware with the combustion Sprinter but adding the same sensor sensitivity to an all-electric commercial vehicle. ADAS Systems on the Mercedes eSprinter

The current eSprinter (VS30 electric, 2024+ for next-gen / 2019+ for first-gen) carries the same ADAS as the diesel Sprinter:

DISTRONIC (next-gen, 2024+) – adaptive cruise control via front radar behind the star badge.

The eSprinter's upright windscreen positions the forward camera higher and at a steeper angle than on Mercedes passenger cars. The front radar sits behind the star badge on the flat front panel.

When Your Mercedes eSprinter Needs ADAS Calibration
