Toyota Corolla ADAS Calibration

The Toyota Corolla replaced the Auris in 2019 – and brought a completely different ADAS package with it. Where the Auris had basic first-generation Toyota Safety Sense, every UK Corolla ships with TSS 2.0 standard, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist. More sensors means more calibration points after any repair. We recalibrate Corolla ADAS systems at 70+ UK workshops, from £199.

ADAS Systems on Your Toyota Corolla

Every UK Corolla (E210, 2019+) comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0:

  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) – full-speed adaptive cruise using the front radar behind the grille badge
  • Pre-Collision System (PCS) – AEB with pedestrian and cyclist detection
  • Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with steering assist
  • Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) – active lane centering, paired with DRCC for semi-autonomous motorway driving
  • Automatic High Beam (AHB)
  • Road Sign Assist (RSA)

The Corolla is built on the TNGA-C platform – the same architecture as the C-HR, but in a lower, wider hatchback/saloon body. This lower profile means the front radar sits closer to typical bumper-height impacts than on crossover siblings.

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) are available on Design and Excel trims, with radar modules in the rear bumper.

Corolla Touring Sports note: The estate variant uses identical ADAS hardware. Calibration requirements are the same as the hatchback and saloon.

When Your Corolla Needs ADAS Calibration

After Front-End Collision or Bumper Repair

The Corolla's low front profile puts its radar in the direct impact zone for car park collisions and low-speed shunts. After bumper replacement or front-end bodywork, the radar behind the grille badge needs recalibration. If your Corolla's cruise control won't engage or PCS has deactivated, the radar alignment has shifted.

After Windscreen Replacement

The Corolla's windscreen camera runs four systems: LDA, LTA, AHB, and RSA. After glass replacement, the camera's position changes enough to cause false lane departure warnings or disable Lane Tracing Assist. If your windscreen fitter couldn't complete the calibration, our OEM-grade equipment handles TSS 2.0 cameras.

Cat S/N Corolla Purchases

The Corolla is a popular choice in the UK salvage market. If you've purchased a Cat S or Cat N Corolla and the ADAS systems aren't functioning, a previous collision repair may have left sensors misaligned. Our technicians diagnose and recalibrate without needing the full service history. Read our Cat S ADAS guide for more.

Toyota Corolla ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Toyota Corolla

The Auris carried first-generation TSS — Pre-Collision System and Lane Departure Alert only. The Corolla that replaced it runs TSS 2.0 with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist. Different sensor hardware, different calibration process, same fixed pricing.
