ADAS Calibration for Vauxhall models

Vauxhall is one of the most common brands we calibrate - 3.5% of all our requests, driven by sheer volume on UK roads. The Corsa has been the UK's best-selling car for multiple years running, and most Vauxhall owners take their cars to independent garages rather than dealers. When those garages can't handle the ADAS calibration after a repair, ADAS Line steps in with OEM-grade equipment at a fixed price.

Vauxhall ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Vauxhall model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Vauxhall model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Vauxhall ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Vauxhall vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Vauxhall with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Vauxhall ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Vauxhall models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Vauxhall, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Vauxhall ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Vauxhall brands its ADAS package as IntelliDrive on newer models. Post-2017 Vauxhalls share the Stellantis platform with Peugeot and Citroën - same sensor locations, same calibration procedures. Older models (pre-2017) used GM platforms with different configurations.

  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) / Forward Collision Alert - Vauxhall's name varies by model year. Uses the front camera and radar to detect potential collisions and brake automatically.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - radar-based, maintains distance in traffic. Sensor behind the front bumper emblem - bumper work requires recalibration.
  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA) - corrective steering when the windscreen camera detects unintentional lane drift. Recalibration needed after windscreen replacement.
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) - audible alert when crossing lane markings without indicating. Camera-dependent.
  • Side Blind Spot Alert - radar sensors in the rear bumper detect vehicles alongside. Rear bumper repairs trigger recalibration.
  • IntelliLux LED Matrix - Vauxhall's adaptive headlight system. While not a traditional ADAS system, it uses camera data and is sometimes flagged alongside ADAS warnings after windscreen work.
  • Advanced Park Assist - ultrasonic sensors for automated parking. Bumper or sensor replacement requires recalibration.

What Triggers Vauxhall ADAS Faults

After collision or bumper repair

Vauxhall mounts the forward radar behind the front bumper emblem. Any front-end work - collision repair, bumper replacement, even a new front grille - can shift the sensor. ACC and AEB will display warnings or stop working until the radar is recalibrated.

After windscreen replacement

The forward camera behind the windscreen controls Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and contributes to AEB. If your windscreen fitter replaced the glass but couldn't calibrate the camera, we complete the calibration at any of our workshops.

Independent garage limitations

Vauxhall owners overwhelmingly use independent garages for servicing and repairs. Most independents lack the specialist equipment for ADAS calibration - they can do the mechanical repair but need a calibration partner to finish the job. Body shops and independent mechanics can refer Vauxhall customers to our UK-wide workshop network.

"A Vauxhall Corsa owner came to us after their local garage replaced the front bumper following a car park collision. The garage cleared the warning lights, but Forward Collision Alert kept reappearing on every journey. The radar needed proper recalibration - not just a code reset."

Vauxhall Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The Corsa is our highest-volume Vauxhall - the UK's most popular car with IntelliDrive on all 2019+ models. The Astra and Mokka follow, while the Vivaro brings commercial vehicle ADAS calibration demand from fleet operators and body shops.
