You've just had your Audi's front grille replaced - or a body shop repaired collision damage and refitted the bumper. Now Audi Pre Sense, Adaptive Cruise Assist, and Side Assist are all showing faults. Audi's ADAS systems share a centralised controller called the zFAS module, and when one sensor is disturbed, multiple systems can fail simultaneously.
Don't risk driving your Audi with misaligned safety systems.
Calibration costs depend on your specific Audi model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Get the right calibration for your Audi
The three most common calibration scenarios for Audi vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.
Every Audi with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Audi ADAS job we carry out.
Windscreen calibration — from £199Audi models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.
Radar calibration — from £349After any collision repair involving a Audi, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

The zFAS (J1121) is Audi's centralised ADAS controller found in newer models. It processes data from the front radar, windscreen camera, and ultrasonic sensors. When the zFAS module is replaced or loses configuration, every system it controls – Adaptive Cruise Assist, Pre Sense, Active Lane Assist, Side Assist – needs recalibrating. This is unique to Audi and requires specialist equipment.
