The Audi A6 e-tron is built on the PPE platform – Premium Platform Electric, co-developed with Porsche – and it introduces a completely different sensor architecture from the combustion A6 it sits alongside. The A6 e-tron uses a new camera and radar arrangement designed around the aerodynamic body, meaning sensor positions differ from every other Audi currently on the road. If your A6 e-tron has been in for bodywork and Pre Sense or Adaptive Cruise Assist is showing faults, the PPE-specific calibration targets are essential.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Audi A6 e-tron
The combustion A6 mounts its front radar behind the grille badge. The A6 e-tron has no grille — the radar sits behind a flush body panel as part of the PPE platform's aerodynamic design. This changes both the sensor position and the calibration reference points. A standard A6 calibration procedure does not apply to the e-tron variant.
