How is the Terramar different from the Ateca it replaces?

The Ateca used the older MQB platform. The Terramar upgrades to MQB-evo with Connected Travel Assist (cloud data), Remote Park Assist (smartphone parking), and Front Cross Traffic Assist. More systems means more sensors and a more comprehensive calibration scope.

Does the Terramar use the same error codes as other Cupra models?

Yes. VW Group diagnostic codes (C110300, C110b54) are shared across MQB and MQB-evo platforms. Our equipment reads and resolves these across Volkswagen, SEAT, Audi, and all Cupra models. See our ADAS error codes guide.

Is Connected Travel Assist calibration different from standard Travel Assist?

The cloud-connected feature uses route data from the infotainment system, but the physical sensors — front radar and windscreen camera — are the same as standard Travel Assist. The calibration procedure is identical. If either sensor is displaced, Connected Travel Assist disables until recalibrated.

After Windscreen Replacement

Lane Assist, Connected Travel Assist, TSR, and Attention Assist all use the windscreen camera. Our £199 Windscreen Calibration restores all camera-dependent systems after glass replacement.

Remote Park Assist Calibration

Remote Park Assist uses multiple ultrasonic sensors and cameras around the vehicle. After any bodywork – bumper, wing mirror, or side panel repair – the sensors may need recalibration for the system to park accurately via the smartphone app.
