How does the 488 Spider compare to the F8 Spider for ADAS?

The F8 Spider (2020+) has AEB as standard — every car has the radar. The 488 Spider may or may not have AEB depending on production year. The F8 Spider is the 488's successor with guaranteed ADAS hardware. We also calibrate the 488 Pista Spider.

If your 488 Spider has had front bumper work and the emergency braking system is showing a dashboard fault, the radar needs professional recalibration. The convertible roof mechanism has no bearing on the AEB system – the radar sits in the front bumper, well forward of the roof hardware.
