Ferrari GTC4Lusso T ADAS Calibration

The GTC4Lusso T swapped the V12 for a twin-turbo V8 and all-wheel drive for rear-wheel drive – but the ADAS provision follows the same pattern as the V12 variant. Later production GTC4Lusso T models (approximately 2019-2020) have AEB with a front radar behind the bumper. If your T has had bumper work and is showing an emergency braking fault, the radar needs professional recalibration.

ADAS Systems on Your Ferrari GTC4Lusso T

The GTC4Lusso T (2017-2020) is the V8 turbo variant of the shooting brake:

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – available on later models (approximately 2019-2020). Front radar behind the bumper.
  • Parking sensors – ultrasonic front and rear.
  • Rear camera – standard reversing camera.

The T variant shares the same front bumper design and radar position as the GTC4Lusso V12. No Full ADAS Pack, no ACC, no Lane Departure Warning – the shooting brake predates Ferrari's comprehensive ADAS offering. But AEB on equipped models is still a safety-critical system requiring recalibration after front-end work.

Daily Driving Damage

The GTC4Lusso T is the more accessible of the two Lusso variants – more affordable and rear-wheel drive. Many GTC4Lusso T owners use their cars as daily drivers, leading to the typical range of bumper contacts: car parks, kerbs, bollards. After bumper repair, the AEB radar (where fitted) needs recalibration.

After Collision Repair
