Ferrari SF90 XX ADAS Calibration

The SF90 XX is Ferrari's track-evolved variant of the SF90 platform – revised aerodynamics, extended front splitter, and fixed rear wing. The front bumper profile is unique to the XX, which means the AEB radar behind it sits in a different aerodynamic environment than the standard Stradale. After front-end repair on an SF90 XX, the radar calibration must reference the XX-specific bumper geometry.

ADAS Systems on Your Ferrari SF90 XX

The SF90 XX shares its ADAS architecture with the SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider:

  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) – standard. Front radar behind the redesigned front bumper.
  • Full ADAS Pack – optional, following the same specification as the standard SF90.

The XX's aerodynamic revisions – larger front air intakes, extended carbon-fibre splitter, fixed rear wing – change the physical surround of the front radar without changing the radar unit itself. The calibration procedure uses the same equipment but must account for the XX's unique front-end profile.

Common Triggers for SF90 XX Calibration

After Track Use Damage

The SF90 XX is designed for track deployment. Front splitter contact with kerbs, debris strikes, and circuit barrier proximity can damage the front bumper assembly. Any repair that removes or repositions the bumper displaces the AEB radar and requires recalibration.

After Bodywork or Aero Component Replacement

Replacing the front splitter or any forward aero components on the XX requires bumper removal. Even if the radar was not directly touched, the removal and refitting process shifts it from its calibrated position.

After Collision Repair
