The Jaecoo 5 is expected to carry a comprehensive ADAS suite consistent with the Chery group approach:

• Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) – forward collision prevention with pedestrian detection
• Front Collision Warning (FCW) – alert before AEB intervenes
• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – radar-based speed and distance management
• Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) – warns and steers back
• Blind Spot Detection (BSD) – adjacent lane monitoring
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) – rear detection when reversing
• Driver Monitoring System (DMS) – cabin camera with facial recognition

The forward camera sits behind the windscreen. The front radar is integrated into the bumper. These are the same sensor types used across the Chery group – calibration expertise from the J7 transfers directly.

After Windscreen Replacement

The forward camera powers AEB, LDP, and DMS-connected features. Every windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration.

After Front or Rear Bumper Repair
