The W206 (2021+) has a more comprehensive suite with Active Steering Assist and standard multifunction camera. Is C-Class ADAS calibration the same as the GLC?

Yes — the GLC shares its ADAS platform with the C-Class. Same radar, same camera, same calibration procedure. The only practical difference is that the GLC's SUV body makes it more prone to bumper disturbance from parking impacts.

My C-Class has a DISTRONIC warning but no collision happened — what's wrong?

Radar sensor drift can occur without a triggering event, particularly on older W205 models. Road vibration, temperature cycling, and minor stone impacts can gradually shift the radar alignment. Yes, directly. The DISTRONIC radar sits behind the three-pointed star on the front fascia. Any bumper removal and refitting — even done carefully — can shift the radar's mounting angle by fractions of a degree. That shift is enough to take DISTRONIC and Active Brake Assist offline. This is one of the most common post-mechanic calibration jobs we see. It is not a fault with the mechanic's work — the radar alignment is simply that sensitive.
