The e-408 (2024+) sits on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform with the full Drive Assist suite:

When Your Peugeot e-408 Needs Calibration

After bumper repair or front-end work

The e-408's sleek front fascia integrates the radar sensor behind the lower grille. Any bumper repair, respray, or collision work on the front end can shift the radar. ACC and Active Safety Brake will deactivate or display warnings until the radar is recalibrated.

After windscreen replacement

Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and the camera element of Active Safety Brake depend on the i-Cockpit windscreen camera. Glass replacement without camera calibration leaves these systems offline. This is the most common trigger across all Peugeot models.

Regenerative braking coordination

The e-408's ACC uses radar distance data to blend regenerative and friction braking. If the radar alignment shifts, the system misjudges closing distances and falls back on mechanical braking – reducing efficiency and range. You'll notice this as harsher, less predictable deceleration during ACC operation.
