No. The e-Expert uses identical sensor hardware in the same positions as the diesel Expert. The calibration process is the same. The difference is how ACC coordinates with the electric drivetrain's regenerative braking — a misaligned radar affects both safety and energy efficiency.

Can a radar misalignment reduce my e-Expert's range?

Yes. If ACC is relying on friction brakes instead of regenerative braking due to inaccurate radar data, the e-Expert recovers less energy during deceleration. Is the e-Expert ADAS the same as the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric?
