Peugeot e-Partner ADAS Calibration

The Peugeot e-Partner is the electric version of Peugeot's compact van – a last-mile delivery vehicle that shares its Stellantis EMP2 Van platform with the Citroën e-Berlingo and Vauxhall Combo-e. Same sensors, same positions, same calibration requirements. If your e-Partner's AEB or Lane Departure Warning has deactivated after a windscreen replacement or panel repair, the camera behind the windscreen is almost certainly the issue.

ADAS Systems on Your Peugeot e-Partner

The e-Partner (2021+) carries a practical ADAS package focused on urban delivery safety:

  • Active Safety Brake (AEB) – windscreen camera detects vehicles and pedestrians at urban speeds. Standard on all trims. Critical for stop-start delivery driving.
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – audible alert when crossing lane markings without indicating. Camera-dependent.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – reads speed limit signs through the windscreen camera. Helps drivers stay compliant across varying urban zones.
  • Driver Attention Alert – monitors steering patterns for drowsiness. Relevant for drivers covering long suburban delivery routes.
  • Rear Parking Sensors – ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper. Standard across the range.
  • Rear View Camera – available on higher trims for safer reversing into tight delivery spots.

The e-Partner does not typically include front radar or Adaptive Cruise Control. Its ADAS is camera-based – the forward camera sits behind the windscreen near the top of the cab. This is identical to the petrol/diesel Partner configuration.

When Your e-Partner Needs Calibration

After windscreen replacement

Compact vans accumulate windscreen damage fast – stone chips from following larger vehicles on dual carriageways, debris on building sites, tree branches on rural delivery routes. After a glass replacement, AEB, LDW, and TSR are all offline until the camera is calibrated. Most glass companies handle the windscreen but can't complete the Peugeot-specific ADAS calibration.

After front-end collision repair

While the e-Partner lacks front radar, a front-end impact can disturb the windscreen camera mounting bracket from behind. If AEB or Lane Departure Warning faults appear after collision repair – even if the windscreen itself wasn't replaced – the camera alignment may need checking.

After rear bumper replacement

Delivery vans take rear impacts. If the rear parking sensors are giving inaccurate proximity readings after bumper work, recalibration restores correct distance measurements. On models with the rear view camera, the camera angle may also need adjusting after bumper replacement.

Peugeot e-Partner ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Peugeot e-Partner

No. The e-Partner and diesel Partner share identical ADAS sensor hardware in the same positions. The calibration process is identical — the electric drivetrain doesn't affect the camera or sensor configuration.
