Peugeot Rifter ADAS Calibration

The Peugeot Rifter is the passenger version of the Partner – same EMP2 platform, same sensor hardware, but a different ownership profile. Rifter owners use the vehicle for family transport and leisure rather than trade deliveries, which means ADAS faults after a repair feel more urgent when you're carrying passengers. Active Safety Brake and Lane Keeping Assist both depend on calibrated sensors that shift during bumper repairs and windscreen replacements. ADAS Line recalibrates all Rifter ADAS systems at 70+ UK workshops with fixed pricing.

ADAS Systems on Your Peugeot Rifter

The Rifter (2018+) shares its Stellantis commercial platform with the Partner, Vauxhall Combo Life, and Citroen Berlingo – identical sensor positions, Peugeot-specific software. The passenger Rifter typically comes with a higher ADAS specification than its Partner van sibling.

Standard on all 2018+ Rifter variants:

  • Active Safety Brake – windscreen camera-based AEB with pedestrian detection.
  • Lane Departure Warning – windscreen camera monitors lane markings at motorway speeds.
  • Driver Attention Alert – monitors steering inputs for drowsiness.

Available on Allure and GT Line trims:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – radar behind the front bumper.
  • Lane Keeping Assist – active steering correction via the windscreen camera.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring – rear quarter radar sensors covering the Rifter's wide rear pillars.

The Rifter's tall MPV body places the bumper-mounted radar in an exposed position. The windscreen camera sits in the standard Stellantis housing behind the rearview mirror.

Why Your Peugeot Rifter Might Need ADAS Calibration

After bumper repair or parking impact

The Rifter's MPV proportions make it a frequent visitor to tight car parks and school drop-off zones. Low-speed front bumper contact – bollards, walls, other vehicles – shifts the radar behind the front panel. Active Safety Brake and ACC will show faults until the radar is recalibrated.

After windscreen replacement

Motorway stone chips are common for any vehicle covering family-distance miles. Every windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration to restore Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Safety Brake. Glass fitters typically can't complete this step – see our windscreen replacement guide.

Peugeot Rifter ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Peugeot Rifter

The Rifter uses identical sensor hardware in the same positions as the Partner — both sit on the EMP2 platform. The passenger Rifter often comes with more ADAS features as standard (Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring), but calibration procedures are the same for shared systems.
