Porsche Panamera ADAS Calibration

The Porsche Panamera is the second-most complex Porsche for ADAS calibration – InnoDrive, Night Vision Assist, Lane Change Assist, Surround View, and the full Porsche Active Safe system across two generations. The first-generation 971 (2017+) and new 972 (2024+) both carry sensor arrays rivalling the Cayenne, with the MSB platform shared with Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur. After front-end bodywork, multiple sensor types need recalibration simultaneously.

ADAS Systems on Your Porsche Panamera

The Panamera (971/972) runs on the MSB platform:

  • Porsche InnoDrive – Predictive adaptive cruise using navigation data to adjust speed ahead of corners, hills, and speed limits. Requires precise front radar and camera calibration.
  • Porsche Active Safe – AEB with pedestrian detection via radar and camera fusion
  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA) – Windscreen camera behind the rearview mirror
  • Lane Change Assist – Rear corner radar sensors for blind spot monitoring
  • Night Vision Assist – Thermal imaging camera in the front bumper detecting pedestrians and animals. Separate calibration from radar and camera.
  • Surround View – Multi-camera 360° view for parking
  • ParkAssist – Ultrasonic sensors front and rear
  • Traffic Sign Recognition – Camera-based, feeding InnoDrive and HUD

The 972 (2024+) updates the sensor generation with improved processing but maintains the same MSB sensor architecture. Calibration procedures for both generations require Porsche-specific equipment.

Why Your Panamera Needs Calibration

After Front Bumper Work

The Panamera's long, low front carries both the radar sensor and (where fitted) the Night Vision thermal camera. A bumper replacement displaces both. InnoDrive drops to basic cruise, Active Safe disables, and Night Vision loses accuracy – all from a single front-end repair.

After Windscreen Replacement

Lane Keep Assist, TSR, and the camera input to InnoDrive all depend on the windscreen camera. Our £199 Windscreen Calibration restores these systems after glass replacement.

Grand Tourer Mileage

Panamera owners accumulate motorway miles. Windscreen stone chip replacements and minor bumper contact are routine over the vehicle's lifetime. Each repair triggers a calibration requirement, and many garages underestimate the Panamera's sensor complexity.

Porsche Panamera Calibration Pricing

ServicePrice
Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349
Full System Reset£499

The Panamera's multi-sensor architecture – radar, camera, Night Vision, Surround View – means a Full System Reset (£499) is typically the right choice after collision repair. Straightforward windscreen work remains £199. See all Porsche models we calibrate

Porsche Panamera ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Porsche Panamera

The Panamera and Bentley Continental GT share the MSB platform with similar sensor mounting positions. Core calibration procedures overlap. However, Porsche-specific features like InnoDrive and Night Vision have their own calibration targets. Our technicians handle both marques.
