ADAS Calibration for Porsche models

Porsche engineers InnoDrive to read the road ahead - using navigation data, elevation profiles, and speed limits to adjust your speed before you even see the corner. That level of predictive precision depends on a front radar and forward-facing camera calibrated to sub-degree tolerances. When either sensor shifts after a repair, InnoDrive degrades to a basic cruise control - and systems like Porsche Active Safe and Night Vision Assist lose accuracy entirely. We calibrate every Porsche ADAS system back to manufacturer specification at 70+ workshops across the UK.

Porsche ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Porsche model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Porsche model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Porsche ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Porsche vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Porsche with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Porsche ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Porsche models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Porsche, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Porsche ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Porsche's ADAS goes beyond the standard radar-and-camera setup found on most vehicles. The system architecture spans four platforms - MSB, MLB Evo, PPE, and the sports car platforms - each with distinct sensor configurations:

  • Porsche InnoDrive - Predictive adaptive cruise control that reads navigation data, road topology, and speed limits to adjust speed proactively. Available on Cayenne, Panamera, and Taycan. Requires both front radar and forward camera to be precisely aligned.
  • Porsche Active Safe - Porsche's automatic emergency braking system, detecting vehicles and pedestrians via front radar and camera fusion. A bumper repair that shifts the radar by even a fraction disables this system.
  • Lane Keep Assist (LKA) - Camera-based lane tracking through the windscreen-mounted camera. Needs recalibration after any windscreen replacement.
  • Lane Change Assist - Rear corner radar sensors monitoring blind spots for safe overtaking. Triggered after rear bumper work.
  • Night Vision Assist - Thermal imaging camera mounted in the front bumper, available on Cayenne and Panamera. Detects pedestrians and animals beyond headlight range. Requires its own dedicated calibration target - separate from radar and camera procedures.
  • Surround View / Park Assist with Surround View - Multiple cameras creating a 360° bird's-eye view for parking and manoeuvring. Each camera position needs individual calibration after body panel work.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition - Camera-based sign detection feeding speed data to InnoDrive and the head-up display.
  • Rear Cross-Traffic Alert - Warns of approaching vehicles when reversing. Uses rear bumper sensors.

The combination of InnoDrive's predictive intelligence and Night Vision's thermal imaging makes Porsche one of the most sensor-dense calibration jobs we handle - and one that demands specialist equipment.

Porsche Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The Cayenne carries Porsche's most complex ADAS suite - InnoDrive, Night Vision Assist, Surround View, and the full radar-camera array on the MLB Evo platform shared with Audi Q7 and Q8. The Macan - now electric on the PPE platform shared with the Audi Q6 e-tron - represents Porsche's latest ADAS hardware generation. The Taycan brings InnoDrive to Porsche's electric lineup on the J1 platform.

We calibrate ADAS systems on every Porsche model in the UK, from the fully loaded Panamera to the 911 and 718.

Porsche ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your Porsche

InnoDrive is Porsche's predictive adaptive cruise control – it uses navigation data, road topology, speed limits, and route profiles to adjust your speed before you reach a corner or hill. The system depends on precise input from both the front radar and forward-facing camera. If either sensor is displaced by a repair or collision, InnoDrive loses its predictive capability and defaults to basic cruise control. Recalibration restores full functionality.
