Does the Cayenne share ADAS with the Audi Q7?

The Cayenne and Audi Q7 share the MLB Evo platform with similar sensor mounting positions. Calibration procedures overlap, and our technicians use VW Group platform expertise across both. However, Porsche uses InnoDrive and Night Vision — features not available on the Q7 — which require Porsche-specific calibration targets.

How is Night Vision Assist calibrated on the Cayenne?

Night Vision uses a thermal imaging camera in the front bumper — separate from the radar. It has its own dedicated calibration targets and procedure. After a front bumper replacement, the Night Vision camera must be realigned independently of the radar and windscreen camera. Our equipment handles all three. The Panamera also offers Night Vision.

Can you calibrate the Cayenne's Surround View cameras?

Yes. The Surround View system uses four cameras — front, rear, and both side mirrors. Each camera needs individual calibration to produce an accurate bird's-eye composite. The Porsche Cayenne carries the most complex ADAS suite of any Porsche – InnoDrive predictive cruise control, Night Vision Assist with thermal imaging, Surround View cameras, Lane Change Assist, and the full Porsche Active Safe system.
