Renault Megane E-Tech ADAS Calibration

The Megane E-Tech is built on Renault's CMF-EV platform – a completely different architecture from the ICE Megane – with an expanded sensor array supporting Highway & Traffic Jam Companion and the full EASY DRIVE suite. If your Megane E-Tech's ADAS has been disrupted after a windscreen replacement, bumper repair, or collision, ADAS Line recalibrates every sensor from £199 at 70+ UK workshops.

ADAS Systems on Your Renault Megane E-Tech

The Megane E-Tech (2022+) carries Renault's most advanced ADAS on the CMF-EV platform. The sensor layout is denser than the ICE Megane:

  • Highway & Traffic Jam Companion – Renault's Level 2 system combining ACC with active lane centring. Requires both radar and camera in sync. Available on Techno and above.
  • Active Emergency Braking (AEB) – front radar behind the bumper, standard on all Megane E-Tech models.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – radar-based distance management, standard on mid-to-high trims.
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – windscreen-mounted camera for active steering correction and drift alerts.
  • Blind Spot Warning (BSW) – rear-quarter radar sensors on Techno and Iconic trims.
  • Safe Distance Warning – front radar alerts when following distance drops below safe levels.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – camera-dependent, reads speed limits.

Because the Megane E-Tech was designed as an EV from the ground up, sensor integration is tighter – the front radar and camera are calibrated as a unified system rather than independent add-ons.

Common Calibration Triggers for the Megane E-Tech

After windscreen replacement – the forward camera controls LKA, LDW, TSR, and the lane centring function of Highway & Traffic Jam Companion. The CMF-EV windscreen geometry differs from older Renaults – glass replaced with non-OEM equivalents can introduce positional differences that make precise calibration essential.

After front bumper repair – the radar manages AEB, ACC, Safe Distance Warning, and the speed-matching element of Highway & Traffic Jam Companion. EV bumpers integrate aerodynamic and sensor elements, so even minor frontal impacts affect radar alignment more than on conventional models.

When Highway & Traffic Jam Companion won't engage – this Level 2 system requires both radar and camera within tight tolerances. If either sensor is off after a repair, the system stays disabled. A Full System Reset recalibrates both.

Renault Megane E-Tech Calibration Pricing

ServicePrice
Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349
Full System Reset£499

Megane E-Tech owners with Highway & Traffic Jam Companion faults after frontal repair typically need radar calibration at £349. If both radar and camera were affected, the £499 Full System Reset covers everything. See all Renault models.

Renault Megane E-Tech ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Renault Megane E-Tech

Yes. The Megane E-Tech uses Renault's CMF-EV platform with a different sensor layout and tighter integration between radar and camera systems. The calibration targets and procedures are model-specific — our equipment is configured for the E-Tech's exact sensor positions. See our ICE Megane page for comparison.
