ADAS Calibration for SEAT models

Your SEAT uses the same radar sensor, the same camera hardware, and the same error codes as a Volkswagen - because they're built on the same MQB platform. We calibrate VW, Audi, and Škoda every day, so when a SEAT Leon or Ateca comes in with Front Assist warnings after a bumper repair, we already know the system inside out. ADAS calibration for your SEAT, from £199, at 70+ UK workshops.

SEAT ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific SEAT model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every SEAT model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What SEAT ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for SEAT vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every SEAT with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common SEAT ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

SEAT models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a SEAT, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

SEAT ADAS Systems We Calibrate

SEAT uses VW Group naming for most of its driver assistance systems - so if you've searched for a VW fix, the same applies to your SEAT:

  • Front Assist (with City Emergency Braking) - Automatic emergency braking at any speed. Uses the radar sensor behind the SEAT badge on the front grille. After any bumper or grille work, this sensor shifts position and needs recalibration.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - Maintains speed and distance using the same front radar. Dashboard message "ACC not available" after a repair means the radar is misaligned.
  • Lane Assist - Camera-based lane keeping that reads road markings through the windscreen-mounted camera. Needs recalibration after windscreen replacement.
  • Side Assist - Blind spot monitoring using rear-mounted radar sensors in the bumper corners. Triggered after rear-end repairs.
  • Travel Assist - SEAT's Level 2 semi-autonomous system combining ACC and Lane Assist. Both sensors must be calibrated for Travel Assist to function.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition - Camera-dependent. Recalibrated alongside Lane Assist after windscreen work.

When Your SEAT Needs ADAS Recalibration

After bumper repair or replacement: The radar sensor sits behind the SEAT emblem on the front grille - the same location as on a Volkswagen. Any frontal impact, bumper replacement, or grille swap moves the sensor. You'll see "Front Assist not available" or "ACC unavailable" on the dashboard.

After windscreen replacement: The forward-facing camera behind the windscreen handles Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and High Beam Assist. A new windscreen means a new camera position - recalibration is mandatory.

Warning lights with no obvious cause: SEAT shares VW Group diagnostic codes. Error code C110300 indicates radar malfunction. C110b54 means Front Assist has lost its basic settings. Both are common after minor repairs or even aftermarket modifications like towbar fitting.

"A SEAT owner recently contacted us after a body shop replaced the front bumper on their Ateca. Front Assist and ACC both went dark - the same issue we resolve on VW and Audi models multiple times a week. Same platform, same fix."

SEAT Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The Leon is SEAT's best-selling model in the UK and our most commonly calibrated SEAT - particularly the 2020+ models with the full ADAS suite. The Ateca and Tarraco SUVs follow closely, both built on the MQB platform with comprehensive Front Assist and ACC systems.

SEAT ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your SEAT

Yes. SEAT is built on the VW Group MQB platform and uses identical sensor hardware. Front Assist, ACC, Lane Assist, and Side Assist all function the same way. Error codes are shared too – C110300 on a SEAT means the same radar fault as on a VW Golf or Audi A3. See our [ADAS error codes guide](/guides/adas-error-codes) for a full breakdown.
