The second-generation Mirai (2020+) sits on the TNGA-L platform – a rear-wheel-drive architecture shared with Toyota's luxury models. It carries Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 as standard:

• Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) – full-speed adaptive cruise using the front radar behind the lower grille. The Mirai's unique front-end styling positions the radar differently from crossover models like the RAV4.

The Mirai's TNGA-L platform positions it differently from the TNGA-C and TNGA-K architectures used by the Corolla and Highlander. The rear-wheel-drive layout and longer wheelbase mean the front radar angle and camera height differ from other TSS 2.0 Toyotas – calibration targets are model-specific.
