ADAS Calibration for XPeng models

Xpeng is rewriting its own ADAS rulebook mid-launch. The G6 arriving in UK showrooms uses 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and radar under XPILOT 2.5 - but the 2025 facelift drops lidar entirely in favour of a pure-vision system called Eagle Eye Vision. That means two fundamentally different calibration profiles already exist for the same model, and the car has barely reached UK roads. Our IMI-certified technicians are equipped for both architectures, from £199, at 70+ UK workshops.

XPeng ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific XPeng model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every XPeng model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What XPeng ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for XPeng vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every XPeng with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common XPeng ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

XPeng models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a XPeng, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Xpeng ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Xpeng's ADAS branding has evolved rapidly. Here's how the naming maps to real systems:

  • XPILOT 2.5 - the UK-spec G6 launch system: 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and radar. Covers AEB, ACC, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Detection
  • XPILOT 3.0 / 3.5 - earlier versions on the P7, adding 5 millimetre-wave radars and 11 cameras for enhanced highway and lane-change assistance
  • XNGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) - the latest full-scenario assisted driving system, capable of navigated highway and city driving
  • Eagle Eye Vision / Turing AI - the 2025+ pure-vision approach: high-resolution cameras with LOFIC technology and 4D millimetre-wave radar, processed by dual Nvidia Orin X chips. No lidar
  • Automatic Emergency Braking - multi-sensor collision avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection
  • Adaptive Cruise Control - radar-based speed and distance management
  • Lane Keeping Assist - active steering to maintain lane position
  • Automatic Lane Change - system-initiated overtaking on motorways (XPILOT 3.0+ and XNGP)
  • Auto Parking Assist - automated parking using surround cameras and ultrasonic sensors
  • 360-degree Surround View - four exterior cameras for manoeuvring

Pre-2025 models with lidar carry sensors on the roof. All models mount the primary forward cameras behind the windscreen and radar in the front bumper.

When Your Xpeng Needs ADAS Recalibration

Two Calibration Profiles - Know Which You Have

This is critical for Xpeng owners. Pre-2025 models may carry roof-mounted lidar alongside radar and cameras - three sensor types requiring calibration after body repairs. The 2025+ vision models drop lidar entirely but add higher-resolution cameras with more precise alignment requirements. Your Xpeng's model year determines the calibration approach.

After Windscreen Replacement

Multiple forward-facing cameras sit behind the Xpeng's windscreen. Replacing the glass disrupts every camera in that cluster - AEB, ACC, Lane Keeping, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Automatic Lane Change all depend on it. If your glazier couldn't complete the calibration, specialist equipment is required.

After Bumper Repair or Collision

The front bumper houses radar units and ultrasonic sensors. Side panels contain additional cameras. With sensors distributed across the entire vehicle perimeter, even a quarter-panel repair can affect the surround-view system and blind spot detection. Xpeng's sensor density means any bodywork warrants a calibration check.

After Roof or Header Work (Pre-2025 Lidar Models)

If your pre-2025 Xpeng has roof-mounted lidar and has undergone roof panel or header repairs, the lidar unit may be misaligned. This affects XPILOT 3.0/3.5 and XNGP advanced driving features. Lidar calibration is a specialist service that most UK workshops cannot provide.

No UK Dealer Nearby

Xpeng's UK dealer network is still growing. If there's no Xpeng service centre near you, finding independent ADAS calibration can feel impossible. Our 70+ workshop network fills that gap - we're already equipped for Xpeng's sensor architecture.

Xpeng Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The G6 is Xpeng's first UK right-hand-drive model, a mid-size coupe SUV with Euro NCAP 5-star rating and XPILOT 2.5. The G9 is the flagship SUV with XNGP capability. The P7 sports sedan carries XPILOT 3.0/3.5 with up to 31 sensors. The P7+ introduces the pure-vision Eagle Eye system.

We calibrate ADAS systems on all 4 Xpeng models, covering both the lidar-equipped and vision-only sensor architectures.

XPeng ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your XPeng

XPILOT (versions 2.5, 3.0, 3.5) is Xpeng's earlier ADAS branding, offering graduated levels of highway assistance. XNGP (Navigation Guided Pilot) is the latest generation, capable of navigated driving in both highway and city scenarios. Both depend on precisely calibrated sensors – any misalignment reduces system capability.
