The Xpeng G6 is the first Xpeng to arrive in UK showrooms – a Euro NCAP 5-star mid-size coupe SUV with XPILOT 2.5 running 12 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and radar. But here is the complication: the 2025 facelift drops LiDAR entirely and switches to a pure-vision Eagle Eye system. That means two fundamentally different calibration profiles may already exist for the same model name, depending on your build date.
When a repair involves door skinning, wing replacement, and wing mirror removal – as one G6 owner described – every camera on that side of the vehicle has been disturbed. The G6's XPILOT 2.5 system requires each affected camera to be recalibrated independently. Door skin plus wing plus mirror work on one side typically affects three to four of the twelve cameras, and all must be done before XPILOT functions are restored.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the XPeng G6
It depends on your model year. Pre-2025 G6 models may include roof-mounted LiDAR. The 2025 facelift drops LiDAR for a pure-vision Eagle Eye system. Check your specification or contact us — the calibration approach differs significantly.
