Your Citroën C3's Active Safety Brake warning appeared after a windscreen replacement – and your fitter says they can't calibrate the camera. The third-generation C3 (2017+) has a forward-facing camera bonded to the windscreen that powers emergency braking, lane departure alerts, and speed sign recognition. When the glass changes, the camera must be recalibrated to restore all three systems.

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Citroën C3
Yes — every C3 from 2017 onward has a windscreen-mounted camera. Replacing the glass requires recalibration of Active Safety Brake, Lane Departure Warning, and Speed Sign Recognition. Without calibration, these systems remain inactive. Our windscreen replacement ADAS guide explains the process.
