Does the ë-C4 X have the same ADAS as the C5 X?

No — the C5 X sits on the larger EMP2 platform and adds Highway Integrated Assist Plus (HIA+) with Semi-Automatic Lane Change. The ë-C4 X has the standard Highway Driver Assist package without SALC or AISA.

Is the ë-C4 X harder to calibrate because of its lower roofline?

No. The camera and radar are in the same positions as the standard C4. The lower roofline affects the windscreen glass shape but not the calibration procedure or targets.

The ë-C4 X is the electric fastback variant of the C4 family – longer body, lower roofline, but the same CMP platform and identical ADAS sensor hardware. Highway Driver Assist, Active Safety Brake 2.0, and ACC with Stop & Go all function the same way and need the same calibration procedures as the standard C4 and ë-C4.

After Windscreen Replacement

The ë-C4 X's windscreen has a different profile to the ë-C4 hatchback due to the lower roofline, but the camera mounting position behind the rear-view mirror is the same. When the glass is replaced, the camera needs recalibration to restore lane keeping, sign recognition, and Active Safety Brake 2.0.

After Bumper Repair

The front radar powers ACC and Active Safety Brake 2.0. Bumper removal or replacement requires radar calibration at £349.

Dashboard ADAS Warnings

If Highway Driver Assist shows as unavailable, or Active Safety Brake warnings appear, a diagnostic scan identifies whether the camera, radar, or both need attention.
