How is the DS 4 Crossback different from the current DS 4?

The DS 4 Crossback (2015–2018) has basic camera-only ADAS. The current DS 4 (2021+) adds DS Drive Assist with adaptive cruise, front radar, Active Scan Suspension, and Blind Spot Monitoring — a significantly more advanced suite requiring more complex calibration.

Is the DS 4 Crossback the same platform as the Citroën C4 Cactus?

The DS 4 Crossback is the first-generation raised-ride variant of the DS 4 – discontinued but still on UK roads. Its ADAS is basic compared to the current DS 4, with Active Safety Brake and Lane Departure Warning powered by a windscreen camera. If your DS 4 Crossback's safety warnings appeared after a windscreen replacement, the camera needs recalibrating.

ADAS Systems on the DS 4 Crossback

The DS 4 Crossback (2015–2018, discontinued) has a limited ADAS configuration:

Active Safety Brake – automatic emergency braking at city speeds via the windscreen camera
Active Lane Departure Warning – alerts when the vehicle drifts without indicating
Speed Limit Recognition – camera reads road signs on higher trims
