That reshaped bumper means the radar calibration targets are specific to the Speciale's geometry. After any front-end repair on this model, the radar must be recalibrated to the Speciale's unique bumper profile, not the standard 296 GTB settings.

The 296 Speciale shares the mid-engine V6 hybrid platform with the 296 GTB and 296 GTS, but with track-focused modifications:

After Collision Repair

Whether trackside or on the road, collision repair on the Speciale requires radar recalibration. Front impacts directly affect the AEB radar. Rear impacts on ADAS Pack-equipped cars can shift Blind Spot Detection sensors.
