Infiniti Q60 ADAS Calibration

The Infiniti Q60 is a low-volume sports coupe that shares its FM platform with the Q50 – but without the Q50's Direct Adaptive Steering or Active Lane Control. What it does carry is Blind Spot Intervention, a system that actively steers the car back if you attempt a lane change into an occupied space. After rear-end bodywork on a coupe this low to the ground, getting BSI sensors back to factory alignment is critical.

ADAS Systems on Your Infiniti Q60

The Q60 (2016+) carries the following Safety Shield systems on the FM platform:

  • Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) – radar-based adaptive cruise, front radar behind the grille
  • Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) – automatic emergency braking using front radar and windscreen camera
  • Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) – corrective steering when drifting across lane markings
  • Blind Spot Intervention (BSI) – active steering correction if you begin a lane change into an occupied blind spot
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert – warns of approaching vehicles when reversing

The Q60's lower roofline compared to the Q50 means the windscreen camera sits at a slightly different angle – calibration targets must account for this. The front radar is behind the grille, and BSI sensors are embedded in the rear bumper corners.

Why Your Infiniti Q60 May Need ADAS Calibration

After Rear Bodywork or Bumper Repair

The Q60's low rear profile makes parking damage common. BSI sensors in the rear bumper corners are vulnerable to even minor impacts. Because BSI actively steers the car, miscalibrated sensors could cause the system to intervene when it shouldn't – or fail when it should.

After Windscreen Replacement

FEB and Lane Departure Prevention rely on the windscreen-mounted camera. The Q60's raked windscreen angle means precise camera alignment matters. If your glazier couldn't complete the ADAS calibration, we finish the job.

Orphaned Brand, No Dealer Network

With Infiniti gone from the UK since 2020, Q60 owners have limited options for ADAS work. The Q60 uses Nissan-derived sensor hardware – our technicians calibrate it with the same equipment and procedures used daily on Nissan vehicles. See all Infiniti models

Infiniti Q60 ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Infiniti Q60

The Q60 shares the FM platform and most Safety Shield systems with the Q50, but lacks Active Lane Control and Direct Adaptive Steering. The sensor hardware — front radar, windscreen camera, BSI sensors — is identical, and calibration procedures are the same.
